Description 5 bound volumes of concert programmes from the Glasgow Choral Union (1866-1880), conducted by H.A. Lambeth, instituted 1843.
Programmes contain song texts, analytical programme notes with musical examples, and names of soloists and accompanists. Some have names of chorus members and orchestral players, as well as lists of subscribers. Between 6 and 16 concerts per season, variable venues: Glasgow Cathedral, City Hall, Public Halls, St. Andrew's Hall, New Public Halls.
