Description Programmes for 41 concerts given by Ashford (and District) Choral Society between 1936 and 1973 in Ashford Parish Church, the Grammar School for Girls, Maidstone Road and the Grammar School for Boys, Hythe Road. The conductors were Paul Steinitz (1936), Mary Mitchell (1952-64), John Gadsden (from 1964) and Mark Deller (from 1970).

The choir gave two concerts a year, featuring a large-scale choral work in March or April and Christmas music in December. The collection consists of programmes for each concert given between 1952 and 1969, plus programmes for concerts on 30 March 1936, 10 May 1969, 14 March 1970, 27 March 1971, and 14 April 1973.
