17/11/1954 The Royal Philharmonic Society at the Royal Festival Hall. 1st performance of Rubbra's Symphony no. 6, with notes by the composer. Also with works by R. Strauss, Schumann, and Delius. Detailed notes for each.
/12/1954 - London Diary of Musical Events for December 1954. Including 'Composers' Forum' with Rubbra on the subject of Symphony no. 6.
04/09/1957 - Worcester Music Meeting of The Three Choirs Festival 1957. Including performance of Rubbra Symphony no. 6 alongside Finzi's Cello Concerto and Elgar's Enigma variations. Includes very detailed programme notes with musical excerpts.
06/06/1971 - Worcester-Somerville Music Society, Oxford. 70th Birthday concert for Edmund Rubbra, at the Holywell Music Room. Includes Sonata no.2 op.31, Eight preludes for piano op. 131, Sonata in G minor op.. 60, and Trio no.1 op.68. Includes brief notes for each.
William Walton Programmes
08/01/1948. Henry Wood Proms Concert. Includes performance of Walton's Symphony in B flat, conducted by the composer. Includes a cut-out of a newspaper review, and slip informing audiences that the second and third movements of the Symphony will be reversed from their printed order, with the Andante played first. Includes programme notes.
