Description
A Collection of European Opera Programmes. All are booklets including a good amount of supplementary detail.
Mostly Polish, comprising 12 programmes. 2 from the Filharmonia Stoleczna, two from the Panstwowy Teatr Polski w Warszawie, others misc. mostly from Warsaw c. 1940s-50s.
2 Czech programmes, Smetana's Tajemstvi, 1992(?), in Czech. and Rusalka, 4/09/1989, in Narodni Divadlo.
3 Russian opera programmes are included. From Moscow, at least one from the Bolshoi, 11/12/1987, 22/03/1991, and 08/03/1991.
2 French programmes, both from Théatre Royal de L'Opera Le Caire: Grande Soirée de Gala (24/02/1948), and the Saison Officielle Francaise de Comédie (also 1948). Both also in Arabic.
