Collection name Scottish Provinces: Glasgow: St. Andrew's Hall (1898-1958)

Description A collection of 30 programmes from St. Andrew's Hall, from 1898 to 1958. The hall was built between 1873 and 1877, and was destroyed by fire in 1962. The majority of programmes in the collection are from orchestral concerts or choral concerts. Most programmes from pre-1950 are from concerts given by the "Choral and Orchestral Union of Glasgow". Post-1950, the collection contains programmes from a variety of concerts including a few programmes from the Scottish National Orchestra.
