Description A collection of 19 boxes of programmes from the Edinburgh Festival, from 1947 to 2005.

The collection includes prospectuses, festival programmes and concert programmes. In addition, there are a few press cuttings as well as miscellaneous leaflets. Chiefly, the collection includes material from the Edinburgh International Festival – originally the Edinburgh International Festival of Music and Drama, and the festival was founded in 1947. However, the collection also includes programmes and prospectuses from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
