Description A collection of one box of programmes from the McCann collection, from 1934. The collection contains programmes from concerts given in the United Kingdom. The programmes were collected by the concert agent Norman McCann (1920-1999).

The prospectus covers the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts.

There is a guide to concerts in Bradford; the majority of concerts were held in Eastbrook Hall, with one concert being held in Church House. In addition there are programmes from Hinderton Hall and Doughty House, where the geographic locations are not known. There is a programme from the University College Musical Society, where the venue is assumed to have been University College, Oxford. There is a programme from a concert given as part of the “Celebrity & Harmonic Society’s Series” in Nottingham. Though the venue is unspecified, this concert is likely to have taken place in Albert Hall, Nottingham. There are seven programmes from concerts with unspecified venues or concerts that formed part of a multi-venue tour.
