A collection of one folder of programmes from the McCann Collection. The collection contains programmes from concerts given outside the United Kingdom and were collected by the concert agent Norman McCann (1920-1999). The collection from Latvia forms part of the "Eastern Europe - former USSR" box.
There are five programmes from concerts held in the Vagnera Zale (“Wagner Hall”). These date from 1990 to 1993. There are three programmes from the “Dzintaru Koncertzale” and “Filharmonijas Koncertzale”, dating from concerts given in 1982 and 1983. Though the programmes do not specify the location, the concerts halls are in Riga.
There is a programme from a venue entitled “Sv. Petera Baznica”. Though the geographic venue is not specified, the programme appears to be in Latvian. Therefore, this programme possibly refers to St. Peter’s Church in Riga.
