Description
A collection of programmes from London theatres beginning "L". The earliest programme in the collection dates from 1899, which was a performance of a Sousa dramatic musical work at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftebsury Avenue. Aside from this programme, the Lyric theatre is chiefly represented by programmes from the 1920s until 1943. There are also a number of programmes from the London Opera Centre, both full operas and operatic scenes. The collection also contains a small quantity of programmes from the London Hippodrome, Leicester Square.

Lewisham Hippodrome; Little Angel Theatre; Little Theatre, Strand; London Hippodrome; London Opera Centre; London Pavilion; Lyric Theatre; Lindsey Theatre Arts Club.
