Description
A collection of programmes from the Old Vic Theatre and Royal Victoria Hall. The programmes for the Royal Victoria Hall - which was renamed "Old Vic" in 1920 - date from 1911 to 1920, and consist of programmes for plays and opera. The programmes from the Old Vic Theatre date from 1920 onwards. There is a substantial amount of programmes from 1920 to 1930, virtually entirely from opera. Programmes post-1960 are more spasmodic, and the collection includes a few programmes from musicals in the 1990s.
