Collection Description

Collection name London: Music Clubs and Societies: Sibelius Society
Unique identifier
Description A collection of two items from the Sibelius Society. There is one programme from a concert given at "His Master's Voice" Studios, Abbey Road. Though the programme has no printed date, there is a pencil annotation suggesting that this concert took place in 1942 or 1943. In addition, there is a booklet of analytical notes of two of Sibelius' works - entitled "Volume three". Whether this booklet is associated with a performance organised by the society is unknown.
