Description A collection of nine programmes and prospectuses from the Royal Choral Society, from 1931 to 1939.

The programmes are from concerts that took place in the Royal Albert Hall. In addition, a few of the programmes and prospectuses do not specify a programme.

The concerts were performances of oratorios and other large-scale choral works, including a series of staged performances of "Hiawatha".

The programmes from the 1938-1939 season were conducted by Malcolm Sargent, and the choir was accompanied by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Earlier collaborators include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Thomas Beecham, and the New Symphony Orchestra conducted by Malcolm Sargent.
