Unique identifier
Description
A collection of four programmes from the Queen Square Select Society, from 1845. The programmes are from March 9, March 16 (2 copies) and April 6. The programmes contain the titles of movements as well as incipits.
The programmes feature music by Beethoven. One programme is from a concert of Beethoven string quartets. The performers are listed as "Sainton, Goffrie, Hill and Rousselot". There are programme from two separate concerts entitled "Offering to Beethoven". The concerts feature various piano sonatas, and these were presumably played by Moscheles - as he is described as being "High Priest" on the programmes.
