Description
A collection of handbills and programmes for performances given at various venues in Heidelberg in 1932, 1961 and 1964, held loosely within a box of programmes for German venues A-Z.
The collection includes the Fest-Buch (containing programmes with words and notes) for the Neuzehntes Deutsches Bachfest given by the Neue Bachgesellschaft between 3 and 5 June 1932 and handbills for a series of performances given in August 1964 under the auspices of the Universität Heidelberg as part of the Ausländer-Ferienkurs: this included performances in Peterskirche (2 August), the Aula der Alten Universität (7 and 14 August, Balladen/Klavier Abend), the Rokokotheater des Schwetzinger Schlosses (19 August, Das Herrmann-Trio) and the Aula der Neuen Universität (27 August).
There is also a programme for a Meisterkonzert/Klavier-Abend by Takahiro Sonoda given on 28 November 1961 at the Stadthalle, a handbill for a Schlosskonzert given by Die Solistenvereinigung des Heidelberger Kammerorchesters, given at the Schloß Heidelberg on 21 August 1964 and an undated programme (1955?) for a production of Mozart, Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail.
