Description
A collection of 28 programmes and prospectuses from Tonbridge, from 1942 to 1997. The majority of items in the collection are from the 1940s.
Most of the items in the collection relate to concerts which were given in association with Tonbridge School. The programmes either specify a venue within the school - usually the Chapel of St. Augustine, but also includes the "Big School" - or are from concerts organised by the "Tonbridge School Music Society" or the "Tonbridge School Choral & Orchestral Societies". The latter programmes are assumed to be from concert which were held within the school.
Other venues represented in the collection include the following: Delarure Hall; Barons Hall, Penshurst Place; St. Stephen's Centre; Big School, Tonbridge School; Chapel of Saint Augustine, Tonbridge School.
