Description A collection of nine programmes from Romsey, Hampshire, from 1825 to 1985.

The earliest item in the collection is a programme from a concert that took place on 27 September 1825. The concert was given at the Abbey Church, as part of the Festival of Music. The concert was entitled "Grand Selection", and included solo vocal items and choruses - largely taken from oratorios. The vocalists included the following: Miss Owens, Mr. Loder, Mr. Biddlecome, Mr. Osmond, Mr. Tubb and Mr. Harrington. Various principle instrumentalists are listed, and the leader of the band was Mr. Frederick with assistance by Mr. Biddlecombe.

The rest of the collection dates from 1919 onwards. Other venues represented in the collection are as follows: Embley Park; Romsey Abbey; Town Hall.
