A collection of 25 programmes and prospectuses from Portsmouth, from 1927 to 1991.
The following venues are represented in the collection: Cathedral Church of Portsmouth [Portsmouth Cathedral]; Coliseum Theatre; Guildhall; Portsmouth Grammar School; King's Theatre; New Theatre Royal.
In addition, there is are prospectuses, posters and programmes from the Portsmouth Festival, from 1977-1979 and 1986. There is a souvenir programme and multi-lungual prospectus from the International String Quartet Competition, from 1979. There is a also a programme from a concert given by the Orchestra of H.M. Royal Marines as part of the series "Municipal Saturday Concerts" in 1927: the programme does not specify the concert venue.
