Description
A collection of 25 programmes from the Playhouse, from 1924 to 1995. The majority of programmes are from operatic performances, usually from performances given by the Oxford University Opera Club. The collection includes a significant number of programmes from performances of British operas, including operas by Holst, Vaughan Williams (an early performance of "Sir John in Love", given in May 1930) and Britten. The collection includes a few press cuttings.
