Description
A collection of 20 festival programmes, prospectuses and concert diaries from Oxford, from 1906 to 1991. The collection contains material from festivals, concert series, conferences and other events which took place in multiple venues across Oxford.
The collection contains two items which list afternoon classes. One is entitled "Programme of Sunday Afternoon Class for boys", and is from 1906. The other is called "Programme of Sunday afternoon meeting for boys", and is undated. Both list a variety of meeting venues, including a number of addresses on the High Street and Woodstock Road.
The remainder of the collection contains materials from the following festivals, events, organisations and performing groups: Oxford Music Festival; IAML IASA; City of Oxford Orchestra; Handel in Oxford Festival; Oxford Bach Choir; Oxfordshire Jazz Festival; English Bach Festival; Oxford "Week-end" of Music and Art.
