A collection of 70 programmes from Lewes, from 1923 to 1940. The collection also includes fliers, press cuttings and reports.
The majority of items in the collection are from concerts organised by the Lewes Music Club. This music club was formed in 1923, with the guidance of the Federation of Music Clubs. The majority of programmes are from concerts that took place in the Corn Exchange or the Town Hall. The programmes from the 1930s are laregly from concerts that took place in Glyndebourne. Other venues represented by the collection include Foresters' Hall.
