Description A collection of 17 programmes from Kettering, from 1893 to 1951.

The earliest programme in the collection is from a concert given in the Victoria Hall, on 6 February 1893. The concert was given by the Kettering Choral Society: the concert featured a performance of the cantata "Joan of Arc" (Gaul) in the first part of the concert, followed by various solo items, songs and short orchestral works in the second part.

The rest of the collection dates from 1942 onwards, with the majority of programmes from concerts given in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations. The following venues are represented in the collection: Central Hall, Montagu Street; Rockingham Road Park; Savoy Cinema Theatre [programmes from 1942 and undated programmes]; Savoy Theatre [programmes from 1951].
