Collection Description
Collection name
English Provinces: Clifton (1877-1907)
Unique identifier
Description
A collection of two programmes from Clifton, from 1877 to 1907. Though the programmes do not specify which "Clifton" the venues are situated in – there are many "Cliftons" in the United Kingdom – it is likely that the Clifton in question is the Clifton situtated near to Bristol, Gloucestershire.
The collection contains a programme from a concert which was given on various dates in December 1877 and January 1878. The concert took place in the Victoria Rooms, Clifton. The concerts featured the Royal Tyrolese Singers, from the Zillerthal in Tyol.
The collection contains a programme from a mixed concert given in St. Paul's Church, Clifton, on 18/12/1907.
