Description
One playbill from the Theatre Royal, from 1831. The playbill is from a performance of "Beggar's Opera", given on 29 April 1831. The evening ended with a performance of "The Quaker" - described as a farce. In addition, there were other short items between the opera and the farce. The performance featured Mr and Mrs Wood, the latter described as "The late Miss Paton". The couple were also responsible for writing some of the items featured in the evening's entertainment.
