Description One programme from the Assembly Rooms, from 1842. The concert was given to mark the "farewell and last appearance in England" of Signor Rubini. The concert was given on 24 August 1842. The first part featured selections from Rossini's Stabat Mater, and the second part featured miscellaneous vocal items. Between the parts, there was a solo horn fantasia. The concert featured the following performers: Signor Rubini, Signorina Pacina, Mademoiselle Ostergaard and Signor Nigri (vocalists); Signor Puzzi (horn); Signor Nigri (piano).
