Description A collection of 11 programmes from the Victoria Rooms, from 1874 to 1997.

The first programme in the collection is from a concert given on 27 February 1874. The programme is from a violin and piano recital given by Charles Hallé and Madame Norman Neruda. The recital was given as part of the series "Clifton Winter Entertainments".

The next programme in the collection is from a pair of concerts given on 8 January 1878. The concerts included solo instrumental works (for violin, cello and piano), chamber music and a few solo vocal items. The performers were as follows: Mrs Norman Neruda (violin); CharlesHallé (piano); Franz Neruda (cello); Madame Enriquez (vocalist). The concerts were given as part of the series "Clifton Winter Entertainments". The programme contains annotations.

The remainder of the collection dates from 1924 onwards and includes programmes from operas, orchestral concerts, choral concerts and solo recitals.
