Description
A collection of 41 programmes and prospectuses from the Birmingham School of Music, from 1958 to 1989. The collection includes items from the Adrian Boult Hall, which opened in 1986. The collection contains items from concerts organised by the school, as well as items from externally-organised events - these include programmes from the Birmingham Chamber Music Society. The Birmingham School of Music became the Birmingham Conservatoire in 1989 - see separate record "Birmingham Conservatoire". In addition, some early programmes from the Birmingham School of Music are housed in the "Birmingham and Midland Institute" collection, the original owner of the Birmingham School of Music.

The programmes are arranged in chronological order. Undated programmes from the Birmingham School of Music are at the end of the Birmingham Conservatoire sequence.
