Description The programme and wordbook for a Programme of Music given by the Worshipful Company of Musicians on 9 July 1929 in the Hall of the Worshipful Company of Skinners.

This was a performance of English part songs and Austro-Germanic string ensemble music, given by the Westminster Singers (Edward Way, Frank Odell, Bertram Mills and W.H. Brereton) with Antonio Brosa and H. Greenbaum (violin), L. Rubens (viola), Anthony Pini (cello) and F.I. Thurston (clarinet). There are brief historical and descriptive notes on certain works by W.W. Cobbett and Cyril Scott.

This document includes a number of literary and pictorial items relating to the Company, including a 'Short Account of the Worshipful Company of Musicians' (by R.H. Hadden) and a list of its officers. There is also a photograph of a Silver cup and a reproduction of a Contemporary Portrait of James I (who granted the Company its charter in 1604).
