Description
A collection of programmes for performances given at various London venues between 1906 and 1912, held as the eleventh of seventeen bound volumes within the Westminster City Archives theatre collection.
Also, a programme for Mr W. H. Plumbridge's Grand Evening Concert given at the Royal Pavilion, Brighton on 19 January 1910.
The material is not bound in a strictly chronological fashion. The tract numbers are provided in square brackets below, where the items are listed alphabetically by venue.
- Aeolian Hall
15 February 1912: The Thursday 'Twelve O'Clocks' 9th Concert [32].
- Bechstein Hall
Tuesday 29 October and Monday 11 November [no year]: Two Recitals by the St. Petersburg String Quartet (single handbill with photograph) [22].
16 May 1906: Recital of the compositions of Reynaldo Hahn, interpreted by Mr Leon Rennay (baritone), accompanied by the composer (with words) [23].

2 November 1909: Old Acquaintance Musical Society 2nd Smoking Concert, 90th season (with words) [25].
- Queen's Hall
21 November 1910: London Symphony Orchestra 3rd Symphony Concert (7th series), conducted by Hans Richter, including the first performance of Joseph Holbrooke, Concerto for Pianoforte and Orchestra, The Song of Gwyn-ap-Nudd (conducted by the composer) [27].
14 March 1911: Bach, Mass in B minor given by the Bach Choir (35th season) with Madame Le Mer, Miss Dilys Jones, Mr Gervase Elwes and Mr J. Campbell McInnes (vocal), conducted by Hugh Allen [30].
Both programmes contain notes, musical examples and lists of the orchestral ensemble. That for 1911 also incorporates a wordbook.
- Royal Albert Hall
1 December 1910: Bach, Mass in B minor given by the Royal Choral Society (40th season) with Miss Perceval Allen, Miss Phyllis Lett, Mr Lloyd Chandos and Mr William Higley, conducted by Sir Frederick Bridge [28]. A wordbook for this performance, containing Analytical Notes and musical examples, is held as tract 29 on the volume.
