Description A collection of handbills and programmes for three performances given at the Town Hall, Birmingham in 1887, including a handbill for the Aston Early Morning School for Men Annual Concert (30 April 1887) and programmes for Mr F.W. Cooke's First and Second Organ Recital and Afternoon Concert (30 April and 7 May 1887), held as part of a bound volume.

30 April 1887: Aston Early Morning School for Men, with Miss Florence Wheeler, Miss Florence Bourne, Mr J. Hartland and Mr George Lane (vocal), the St. Martin’s Glee Union and Mr G. Halliley (organ).

30 April and 7 May: Mr F.W. Cooke's Organ Recital and Afternoon Concert, accompanied by Mr F.H. Bell and featuring the vocalists Miss Fusselle and Mr Grice (April) and Miss Kate Fountain and Mr J.S. Robinson (May). The Celebrated Trombone Quartette and Mr Alfred Woolley (violin) appeared at the second of these performances.
