Description
Wordbook for a Miscellaneous Concert of Vocal and Instrumental music given on 16 June 1825 at the Theatre Royal, Hull, for the benefit of the widows and orphans of the crew of the ships lost last winter.
This was a two-part concert of English vocal music, with orchestral overtures at the beginning of each part and in the middle and at the end of Act I.
The wordbooks cites the involvement of the vocalists Mr Ellis, Miss Johnson and Miss Travis.
