Description The programmes and wordbooks for two Tamworth Charity Concerts, given on 9 January 1833 and 3 January 1834 at the Town Hall, Tamworth.

These were both two-part concert of solo and ensemble vocal repertory (including a number of glees), with orchestral overtures at the beginning of each part. The second concert also included an instrumental solo in each part.

9 January 1833: led by Mr Shargool with Mr Valentine (piano) and Miss Symonds and Messrs Machin and Pearsall (vocal).
3 January 1834: led by Mr Cudmore with Mr Greaves (piano) and Messrs Hunt, Gould, Machin and Webster and Miss Lloyd (vocal).
