Description Programme of the pieces to be sung on the occasion of the great Sunday School Centenary Festival, at the Mass Concert, to be held in the grounds of Crystal Palace on 30 June 1880.

This was a performance of hymns and part songs given by ‘at least 30,000 Sunday School Teachers and Scholars’, conducted by Mr Luther Hinton.

In addition to the music for these pieces, the programme includes a list of the complete proceedings for the day, the musical portion of which featured a concert by the Band of the Crystal Palace under the direction of August Manns, Entertainments by the Holdfast Temperance Handbell Ringers and the Royal Poland Street Handbell Ringers, two Organ Recitals (performers not listed), and a ‘Grand Concert by upwards of 5,000 Sunday School Scholars and Friends, under the direction of the Executive of the London Sunday School Choir’.
