Description Programmes and wordbooks for performances given by the Stourbridge Harmonic Society on 17 November 1829 and 17 January 1831, the first at the Crown Inn and the second at the Talbot Hotel, Stourbridge.

These were two-part concerts of solo and ensemble English vocal music (including a number of glees), with orchestral overtures/symphonies at the beginning and end of each part.

Mr Machin appeared as the vocal soloist at both performances. Miss Price, from the Royal Academy of Music, performed a Fantasia for Piano Forte at the first performance whilst Messrs S. and H. Simms gave a piano duet at the second.

The programme for the first performance includes a copy of the 'Rules of the Stourbridge Harmonic Society'.
