Description
A collection of programmes and wordbooks for two concerts of vocal and instrumental solos, given at Steinway Hall, London on 9 July [1894] and 30 April 1897.
9 July [1894]: Miss Gwladys Wood and Mr Cyril Streatfeild Vocal Recital no.1, with T.J. Milne (violin), Paul Ludwig (cello) and Henry Bird (piano), accompanied by Wilfred Bendall.
30 April 1897: Vocal and Pianoforte Recital given by Miss Katharine Alston and Miss Margaret Pierrepont, with Mr Kennerley Rumford (vocal) and Mr Leonard Borwick (piano), including the first performance of Arensky, The Song of the Water Maiden.
