Description A collection of programmes and wordbooks for three concerts given at the Steinway Hall, London in 1896 and 1897, held with the programme and wordbook for a violin recital given at St. James’s Hall, London in 1896.

17 March 1896: Miss Rosa Leo’s Vocal Recital, with Miss Rosa Leo and Mr David Bispham (vocal) and Mr Leonard Borwick (piano), accompanied by Mr Wilfred Bendall, including the first performance of two songs by Amy Horrocks. This was one of three concerts given during this season and was part of the second such series offered by Leo.
23 April 1896: Mr Stanley Hawley’s Morning Concert, with Mr Hayden-Coffin, Miss Helen Buckley and Mr Lawrence Kellie (vocal) and Mr Alfred Hollins and Mr Stanley Hawley (piano). The concert also featured recitations, with music, by Miss Lena Ashwell.
24 May 1897: Mrs Norman Salmond’s Morning Concert, with Mrs Norman Salmond (piano), Mr Benoit Hollander (violin), Mr Alfred Hobday (viola), Mr W.H. Squire (cello) and Mr Ben Davies, Mrs Hutchinson, Madame Marian McKenzie and Mr Arthur Walenn (vocal), including the first performance of Benoit Hollander, Sonata for Violin and Piano op.19.
