Description A collection comprising the programmes and wordbooks for 2 concerts, given at the Steinway Hall, London on 19 June 1893 and 7 June 1895.

Mr Edgar Haddock's Musical Afternoons no.3, given by Miss Trebelli, Mrs Creser, Mr Philip Newbury and Mr H. Chilver-Wilson (vocal), Miss Pauline Sant-Angelo (piano), Mr Edgar Haddock (violin), Miss Mary Chatterton (harp) and Mr J.E. Ibeson (organ), accompanied by Mr S. Liddle and Mr Wallis Vincent.
This was a two-act performance devoted to music by modern English composers, in which every item was receiving its first performance in London and where several of the pieces were written specifically for the event.
The following composers appeared to play their own works: Mr John Francis Barnett, Mr Clement Harris, Dr Alan Gray, Mr Algernon Ashton, Dr W. Creser, and Mr G. Percy Haddock.
The document concludes with an advertisement for the Leeds College of Music, of which Mr G. Haddock was the principal.

Mr Lawrence Kellie’s First Vocal Recital (ninth season), with Miss Kate Cove, Miss Greta Williams and Miss Helen Mar (vocal), Mr Leo Stern (cello) and Mr Stanley Hawley (piano).
This was a two-part vocal concert, including the first performance of a number of pieces by Lawrence Kellie. There are also solos for cello in Act I and for piano in Act II.
The document also includes extensive biographical notes on Kellie (with a photograph) and advertisements for various related publications of vocal music.
