Description
The programme and wordbook for a concert given by St. John's College Musical Society, Cambridge on 22 May 1876. This was a two-part concert, the first part of which consisted of selections from Gluck, Orpheus, given in an English translation by Henry F. Chorley.
The performance featured the vocal soloists Miss Aylward and Miss Annie Butterworth and was conducted by Dr G.M. Garrett. The programme includes a list of committee members for the Musical Society.
