Description Programme for the 232nd Recital of the Society for the Promotion of New Music (SPNM), given by members of Cirencester Grammar School Choir and Orchestra, at the Royal College of Music, London, on 7 December 1961.

This was a concert of ‘original music composed at the school’, introduced and directed by Peter Maxwell Davies.

The programme includes lists of the vocal and instrumental performers and carries brief historical and descriptive notes on each of the works performed. There is also a list of the committee of the SPNM and information regarding ticket arrangements.
