Description
Wordbook for Mr Chattaway’s Benefit Concert, given at the Royal Hotel, [Birmingham] on 28 October 1830.
This was a two-part concert of predominantly English vocal repertory (largely solos but with a glee in each part), with orchestral overtures at the beginning of each act.
The concert was led by Mr Shargool, with Mr Munden (piano) and featured the following vocal performers: Messrs Dudley, Fenney, Machin, Pearsall and Simmons, and Misses M. Aston, Heaton and Symonds.
