Description A collection of programmes and wordbooks for two concerts, given at the Queen’s Hall, London on 2 May and 11 December 1903, held in reverse chronological order as part of a tracted volume.

2 May 1903: Dr Ludwig Wüllner’s Vocal Recital no.2, being a performance of songs by Schubert, Schumann, Lowe and Brahms. This document also includes a programme for a very similar performance, given at the same venue on 9 May 1903.

11 December 1903: concert given in honour of the centenary of Hector Berlioz, and for the Relief Fund of the National School of French Teachers in England, being a two-part concert of music by Berlioz, given by the Queen’s Hall Orchestra, with Miss Evalyn Amethé (violin) and Miss Alice Holländer (vocal), conducted by Richard Strauss (with historical and analytical notes, including musical examples, by Percy Pitt and Alfred Kalish, observations on Berlioz and his achievement by other composers, and photographs of Berlioz and the principal performers).
