Description Programme and wordbook for the second performance of a Grand Musical Festival given by the Royal Society of Musicians on 31 May 1787 at Westminster Abbey.

This was a performance of Handel, The Messiah, conducted by Joah Bates, with Mr John Ashley (assistant conductor).
