Description
Souvenir Programme for the 28th Conference of the Music Academy, Madras, given between 23 December 1954 and 1 January 1955.
In addition to a number of critical and historical essays, this document includes programmes for the performances given each day during the conference at either the Sundareswarar Hall or P.S. High School Hall, Madras [Chennai].
There is also a timetable for the conference, a list of the organizing committee/patrons and a large number of photographs of those involved in the organization.
