Description The programme and wordbook for Mr Sim Reeves’s Farewell Concert, given at the Royal Albert Hall, London on 11 May 1891.

This was a two-part vocal concert, incorporating orchestral overtures at the start of each act and occasional instrumental solos. During the interval, a Farewell Address written by Mr Walter Pollock was given by Mr Henry Irving.

The programme lists the following performers: Madame Christine Nilsson and Madame Nordica, Mrs W.B. Eaton, Miss Alice Gomez and Madame Antoinette Sterling, Mr Herbert Reeves, Signor Foli, Mr Barrington Foote and Mr Sims Reeves (vocal); Mademoiselle Janotha (piano) and Mr Percy Sharman (violin).

Also, the Meister Glee Singers (Mr William Sexton, Gregory Hast, W.G. Forington and Mr Webster Norcross) and a grand orchestra conducted by August Manns, Signor Arditi, Mr J.L. Maunder, Mr Wilhelm Ganz and Mr Kuhe.
