Description
A miscellaneous collection of handbills and programmes for four performances given at various venues in Birmingham between 1880 and 1900, bound as listed as parts 15 to 18 of a tracted volume.
21 March 1887 [no venue]: T. Anderton, The Wreck of Hesperus and a miscellaneous act, given by the Sparkhill Choral Society, with Miss Edith Halliley, Mr George Wilmott and Mr Fred G. Pedley (vocal) and a band and chorus of sixty performers, conducted by Mr Francis Morton (programme with words).
23 October 1900, Cotteridge Room, King’s Norton: Grand Concert given by Mr Randell’s Choir (24 voices), accompanied by Miss R.E. Allan and conducted by Mr Monteith Randell.
20 April 1885, New Lecture Theatre, Birmingham and Midland Institute: Pianoforte and Violin Recital given by Miss Emily Walker with Mrs Hutchinson (vocal) and Miss Lilian Dixon (violin) (programme with words).
17 June 1880 [no venue]: Handsworth Philharmonic Society Third Concert (handbill only).
