Description
An analytical programme for the first of the Meiningen Orchestra Concerts, given at St. James's Hall, London on 17 November 1902.
This was a two-part concert of nineteenth-century Austro-Germanic orchestral repertory, directed by Fritz Steinbach. The programme contains historical and analytical notes (with musical examples) by Donald Francis Tovey.
