Description A collection of programmes and wordbooks for two concerts given by Madame Melba at the Royal Albert Hall, London on 2 and 4 November [1898].

Described as Grand Evening and Grand Morning concerts respectively, these were performances of nineteenth-century vocal, instrumental and orchestral music, led by Mr W. Fyre-Parker and conducted by Signor Seppilli and Mr Landon Ronald. Both concerts featured Madame Melba, Mr Ben Davies and Charles Santley (vocal) and Mr Frederic Griffith (flute). Additional performers are listed below.

The programmes both carry handwritten annotations, which comment principally on the provision of encores.

2 November [1898]: Miss Ada Crossley and Mr Theodore Byard (vocal) and Johann Kruse (violin), including music by Landon Ronald and Signor Arditi conducted by the composers.

4 November [1898]: Mlle Lydia Illyna (vocal), Miss Maud Powell (violin) and Miss Llewela Davies (piano) (with a photograph of Melba).
