Description A miscellaneous collection of programmes for performances given at a range of Oxford venues between 1885 and 1903, being folio nos. 52, 173, 351, 401, 491 and 515 of the Joseph Colegrove collection. Also, a printed list of the performances given by the Oxford Bach Choir at various venues between November 1883 and March 1934 (folio 653).

All items are held loosely within a single envelope.

25 April 1885, Sheldonian Theatre: Richter Concert with Miss Lena Little (vocal) and the Richter Orchestra, conducted by Hans Richter (with words, historical and analytical notes with musical examples, and a list of the orchestral ensemble).

8 February 1893, [no venue]: Shakespeare, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, given by the Oxford University Dramatic Society, with music composed and directed by Mr F. Cunningham Woods (with list of the orchestral ensemble).

11 December 1895, St. Andrew's College, Bradfield: Concert, including J. More Smieton, Selection from a Dramatic Cantata, King Arthur (with words and lists of the choral and orchestral ensembles).

24 May 1901, Queen's College: Queen's College Concert, given by the Eglesfield Musical Society, conducted by Frederick Iliffe, including J. H. Mee, Delphi and W. Claxton, Ye Little Birds, both conducted by the composers (with words, notes (including musical examples, and lists of the choral and orchestral ensembles).

30 April 1903, Town Hall: Mendelssohn, Elijah, given as part of the Eleventh Annual Festival of the Free Church Choir Union, with Madame Siviter, Miss Greta Williams, Mr A. Collings and Mr Fred. Johnson (vocal), conducted by Alfred Wiblin (with words, biographical note on Mendelssohn and a list of the orchestral ensemble).
