Description A brochure containing the programmes and a wordbook for seven concerts given by the Internationale Kammermusik-Aufführungen between 7 and 10 August 1922, in the Grossen Saale des Mozarteums, Salzburg.

A morning and an evening performance was given each day, except on 7 August when only an evening concert took place. These were two-part performances consisting of vocal and instrumental chamber music by a range of contemporary European composers. There are a number of works in which the composers also appear as performers.

The brochure includes a list of the organizing committee, under the direction of Richard Strauss, and consistently gives the nationality of both composers and performers.

Vocal: Marya Freund, Walter Gieseking, Karl Horwitz, Félicie Mihacsek-Hüni, Dorothy Moulton, Andula Pecirková, Elisabeth Schumann, Erika Wagner and Poul Wiedemann.

Piano: Karl Alwin, Béla Bartók, Christian Christiansen, Carl Friedberg, Egon Lustgarten, Fritz Malata, Felix Petyrek, Willem Pijper, Francis Poulenc, Rudolf Réti, Leo Sowerby, Andrée Vaurabourg, Paul Weingarten and Jean Wienér.

Louis Fleury and Pierre Camus (flute), Louis Gaudard (oboe), Henri Delacroix (clarinet) and Georges Hermans (bassoon).

Mario Corti, Mary Dickenson-Auner, Thorvald Nielsen, Fritz Sedlak and Joseph Szigéti (violin), Hugo Kauder (viola) and Alexander Barjansky and Wilhelm Winkler (cello).
