Programme and wordbook for a performance of Handel, Messiah given on 4 March 1857 at the Music Hall, Jarratt Street as part of the Hull Grand Musical Festival.
This document provides a list of the instrumental soloists, drawn from the London Orchestral Union, led by Mr H. Hill and conducted by Mr Alfred Mellon with Mr T. Hopkinson (organ).
