Description The programme for a Conversazione given by the Huguenot Society of London on 13 May 1903 at the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, Piccadilly.

This was a programme of ‘Old French Music’, given under the direction of Arnold Dolmetsch and performed on instruments described as being ‘in vogue in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries’. These were played by Arnold Dolmetsch (lute and viola d’Amore), H.J.L.J. Massé (tenor viol), Miss Mabel Johnston (Viola da Gamba) and Mrs Elodie Dolmetsch (harpsichord and singer).

The programme includes both the words and music for the vocal pieces, some brief historical notes, notes on the instruments being used and a list of the management of the Huguenot Society.
